Sam Zaganjori is a seasoned trial attorney with a wealth of courtroom experience. He practices in state and federal court. He is a zealous advocate who treats every client with patience and respect. Attorney Zaganjori has extensive experience in the trial courts of Massachusetts. He spent six years as an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County where he prosecuted cases in Middlesex Superior Court, Cambridge District Court, Malden District Court, Lowell District Court, Framingham District Court and Woburn District Court. He held several positions within the District Attorney's office, including Supervising Attorney of the Cambridge District Court. He spent two years focusing exclusively on the prosecution of cases of child abuse and sexual assault in the Middlesex Superior Court. He brought many serious felony cases to trial in the Middlesex Superior Court including rape, indecent assault and battery and robbery. In 2009, the District Attorney awarded Mr. Zaganjori the John Droney District Court Award for extraordinary service in the district court.
Attorney Zaganjori has also handled matters in the Juvenile Court. After graduating from Boston University School of Law in 2005, he served as a law clerk for the Massachusetts Juvenile Court. He worked in the Lowell Juvenile Court, Lynn Juvenile Court, Salem Juvenile Court, Dedham Juvenile Court, Stoughton Juvenile Court and the Quincy Juvenile Court. As a law clerk, he worked closely with Juvenile Court judges, writing decisions and advising the judges regarding juvenile delinquency and child protection cases. where he developed a deep understanding of the practice of juvenile law. He also prosecuted cases and has represented clients in the various divisions of the Massachusetts Juvenile Court.
Attorney Zaganjori left the District Attorney's Office in 2012 and joined a prominent criminal defense firm in downtown Boston. He ultimately was named managing attorney for the firm. He handled a broad array of criminal cases, including several high profile matters that were covered in the Boston Globe, Boston Herald and other media outlets. He also appeared on Dateline NBC to discuss a highly-publicized sexual assault trial on which he served as co-counsel. In 2013 and 2014, he served as an adjunct professor of law at New England Law-Boston where he taught appellate advocacy.
Attorney Zaganjori opened Zaganjori Law Office in 2016. He is a dedicated Woburn criminal defense attorney with an office conveniently located near Woburn Center. He represents clients in all over eastern Massachusetts, including in Woburn District Court, Cambridge District, Malden District Court, Woburn Superior Court, Lowell Superior Court, Lowell District Court and United States District Court. He also handles criminal appeals. His experience and dedication to his clients make him well prepared to handle any criminal matter.
